Brazil Carnival

Opening night for Carnaval 2009 in Brazil. Tonight and tomorrow night, the city of São Paulo will showcase the carnival 2009 parades.

Sunday and Monday nights will be Rio de Janeiro’s turn to do the same. Rosas de Ouro samba school is the second school to parade in this first night’s line up.

It lasts four days and four nights.
It starts on Saturday and finishes on a Thursday.
People put on their costumes and go out into the streets or to clubs.
